Private Lessons — Desert West offers private lessons and one on one tutoring tailored to fit your specific needs.  Lessons can be designed to accomplish any goal that you may have. Private Lessons must be scheduled by phone. Minimum time requirement is two hours.  Equipment and supplies needed can be provided for an additional fee and are not included in the hourly rate.

$55.00 Per person per hour. Private instruction takes place in a private training bay away from the public range. Fees do not include range fees of $10 per person. Fees do not include ammunition. All shooter are responsible for their own factory loaded ammo. No reloads allowed.

$55.00 Per hour per student per hour.  2 Hour minimum.

Prior to private instruction, our instructors may require a minimum of 30 minutes classroom review before entering the gun range.

There is no additional charge to students of private training for classroom briefing. The instructor will determine if this will be a prerequisite according to shooters experience, background, attitude and overall understanding of the NRA fundamental rules for safe gun handling.

If students are not able to satisfactorily demonstrate, verbalize or convey to the instructor their ability to safely participate in live fire training, student may be required to take a basic course prior to private instruction.

 

Classroom Requirements:

Firearm of your choice.

No live ammunition to be brought inside classroom!

Students must obey all commands while on range.

Students must obey Range Safety Rules at all times while on range.

All Classes and Private Lessons are taught by certified instructors who specialize in handgun, rifle and shotgun training, safety, attitude, shooting skills, tactics and techniques.

The 8 hour AZ CCW concealed carry weapons permit course is required for your Arizona CCW Permit which is issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
